Dana White Feels Honored And Overwhelmed In UFC 118 Post Fight Conference

The post fight conference was also a major highlight of the evening as the fans were aware of the fact that this was the first time that the UFC was being held in Boston, Massachusetts which is also the hometown of the marketing president of the UFC, Dana White. Dana White appeared at the conference in a black suit and he was accompanied on stage by some of the fighters.

Two of the biggest events of the UFC 118 took place on Saturday. With Nate Diaz taking on Marcus Davis and Frankie Edgar fighting BJ Penn on the same day, the day ensured that the audience had their money well spent on the pay per view matches. Also the co-main event on the cards was the Randy Couture Vs James Toney clash for the heavyweight title. There was also a lot of hype surrounding the match between BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar as it was being touted as the opportunity for BJ Penn to avenge his UFC 112 defeat.

Dana White appreciated the response to the UFC 118 by the media and the fans. He said that he was ecstatic, overwhelmed and completely honored by the reception in the new venue. Dana White also announced the ‘Fight of the Night’ award to Nate Diaz and Marcus Davis. Each of the fighters received $60,000 extra apart from their regular fight fee. Dana White was also seen all praises for Frankie Edgar at the post fight conference.
