lanMobile, Alabama, Jan 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Central Michigan quarterback Dan Lefevour displayed a scintillating performance on Wednesday night at the GMAC Bowl clash against Troy. The Central Michigan team registered a 44-41 victory against Troy, which marked their first bowl game since the year 2006.

Wednesday night’s game was the last game in the college career of the much acclaimed quarterback as he guided his team to a 85 yard drive for a score. At the same time, the fourth quarter witnessed the player give a 34-31 lead to his team which enabled the Chippewas to gain control of the game. Moreover, the 22 year old quarterback also delivered the first touchdown of the overtime. Even in his final game, the quarterback managed to live up to the expectations of the fans as well as his teammates, as his performance helped his team to emerge as the ultimate winner.

Meanwhile, during his five years at the Central Michigan University, the quarterback has displayed stunning performances that has enabled him to emerge as one of the most reputed players of college football. During his association with the Central Michigan’s team, the player has set an unprecedented record that is unparalleled in NCAA history.

The young player is recognized for scoring the largest number of touchdowns in NCAA till now. At the same time, Dan Lefevour also holds the record of being the only player to have rushed for an amazing 2,500 yards as well as for scoring 12,000 passing yards. With these outstanding records, it does not come as a surprise that the quarterback is being pitched as one of the top players to be picked by the NFL draft later this year.
