Dan Dierdoff Inducted To Hall Of Fame

danNov. 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Footballer Dan Dierdorf, who is one of the color commentators for CBS had a spectacular sports career. He was among the best offensive lineman of the St. Louis football team as well as the Wolverines football team. Dierdorf had successfully played in thirteen NFL seasons and also appeared in the Monday Night Football of ABC. Last week, he was honored for his career achievements and got inducted to the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame.

According to the sources, nineteen other popular sports personality got inducted to the Hall of Fame along with Dan Dierdorf. Apart from Dierdorf, St. Louis Blues’ hockey coach, Red Berenson was honored in the occasion and got inducted to the Hall of Fame. Fans of the St. Louis Blues remembers Berenson for his team’s performance for a match of 1968, in which his team scored six goals against the Philadelphia team. It was an “road match” for the St. Louis Blues and outstanding performance of the players helped them set a record in NHL history. They became the team to score maximum goals in “road match”.

Jack Buck, Jackie Joyner Kersee, Ozzie Smith and Stan Musial also got inducted to the Hall of Fame last week. All of them were associated with the St. Louis sports team and have benefited their teams with their skills. Former coaches, players and administrators has provided inputs for selecting people who were inducted in the Hall of Fame. Inputs from the media sources also helped in listing the sports stars who were honored last week.
