In a recent development, speculations are abuzz in the Dallas Cowboys camp that the twin brother of New York Jets’ head coach Rex Ryan will soon be joining the Cowboys as the team’s new defensive coordinator.

Although there has been no official confirmation of the news, from what is happening at the Cowboys camp, it is not difficult to guess that the Cowboys are on the verge of giving the final offer to Rob Ryan, who is presently the defensive coordinator with the Cleveland Browns. On Friday, a news shot up on the official website of the Dallas Cowboys that the team had already made an offer to the 48-year-old defensive coordinator and discussions to arrive at a final decision are going on. A source reported that the Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator before proceeding for a meeting with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and head coach Jason Garrett, spent a considerable amount of time at the team’s practice facility.

The decision to hire Rob Ryan as the Cowboys defensive coordinator is obvious since he is someone who has been specializing in the matter for a long. It is most likely that Rob Ryan will take up the offer since back at Cleveland, things have, reportedly, become a little difficult for him after Browns head coach Pat Shurmur decided to take things in a different direction for the team without him. Rob Ryan still has a year left in his contract with the Cleveland Browns.
