CWG table tennis: India add two bronze to its tally

New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) Sharath Kamal in the men’s singles and the women’s pair of Mouma Das and Poulomi Ghatak secured a bronze each in the table tennis event of the Commmonwealth Games here Thursday.

Sharath beat compatriot Soumyadeep Roy 11-8, 11-5, 12-10, 11-9 in the bronze medal clash of the singles.

Earlier, the women’s pair of Mouma and Poulomi posted a comfortable 11-4, 11-7, 11-1 victory over Vivian Tan and Peri Campbell of Australia in the third place play-off to give India its fifth medal in the sport.
