CWG scam: CBI raids 20 locations
May 2nd, 2012 - 12:53 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 2 (IANS) In a fresh case registered in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2010, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Wednesday raided 20 locations in Delhi, the national capital region, Kolkata and Siliguri, an official said.
“It is a case involving tenders for laying synthetic tracks in five CWG stadia. Losses worth Rs.30 crore have been traced in the scam,” a CBI official said.
“A case has been registered against the Central Public Works Department, Delhi Development Authority and sports company Shiv Naresh,” the official added.
