CWG Athletics: Krishna Poonia wins India historic discus gold
October 11th, 2010 - 8:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 11 (IANS) It was a historic day for Indian athletics Monday as Krishna Pooniya, Harwant Kaur and Seema Antil clinched the gold, silver and bronze in the women’s discus throw event at the Commonwealth Games here.
Krishna won the gold with a throw of 61.51 metres while Harwant got the silver with 60.16m. The bronze went to Seema with a throw of 58.46m.
