Curtis Grant Chooses Ohio State Buckeyes Over Virginia Cavaliers

Feb 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rated as the country’s No. 3 linebacker Curtis Grant has finally ended all the suspense by announcing that he will be playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes. There were numerous speculations prior to the final announcement where it was being counted that one of the top five linebacker Curtis Grant will be heading towards Virginia, something which he had nodded earlier. Although there was no verbal assurance given by Curtis Grant to the Virginia Cavaliers unlike De’Anthony Thomas, but he had kept the Virginia avenue open for himself.
According to sources, the linebacker who his hailed as No. 46 in terms of the overall prospect in a recent press conference said that he is keen on joining the Ohio State University team for he is in love with the team! He further added that his visit to the Ohio State University brought him enough warmth making him feel at home. He made it clear that he was pretty much in love with his new team for the Hermitage High School senior linebacker was seen sporting his new Ohio State Buckeye cap while dissolving all confusion about which team he is eager to join. The news that he is comfortable to play with the Buckeyes was confirmed by Curtis Grant in Wednesday afternoon.
It is said that Curtis Grant has received more than three dozen scholarships while his recruiting process was going on. It was only a few months back that Curtis Grant had headed to Florida but the resignation of Urban Meyer narrowed his chances of getting enlisted with the Gators, making Ohio at the top position of his preference list. He had also added that he might also head towards North Carolina.
