Dec. 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Like every Saturday, this Saturday also had some gut wrenching matches that warmed up the boxing lovers, in the wintry weather. WEC 45 and the Strike Evolution matches that were scheduled yesterday night, exhibited some incredible matches of the season. However, many people considered that the match between Cung Le and Scott Smith was the best.

The match between Cung Le and Scott Smith, scheduled in the HP Pavilion, on Saturday, was one of the most important matches of the night and many people had high hopes for Cung Le, who had won several matches earlier. As presumed by many of his fans, Cung Le had tried to take the control of the match from the initial stages and was successful in doing so. He tried to record the victory with the help of his spinning back kicks and other popular strokes but could not succeed till the end.

Cung Le’s fans were thrilled as he had almost won the match but Scott Smith made a comeback in the final moment of the match. Scott Smith, earlier had changed the decision of the match in the ultimate moment and this time too he did the same. To the utter dismay of many Cung Le’s fans, he was knocked down when few minutes were left for the match to end. It appeared that Cung Le never expected Scott Smith would get charged up all of a sudden and strike back at him. Scott Smith not only revolted back against Cung Le but banged him against the fence till the referee stopped the match.
