Cris Cyborg Retains Her MMA Title

Jan 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cris Cyborg is seen by many as the rising star in Women’s mixed martial arts. The Brazilian said in a recent interview that she likes training with males. She has oodles of power in her strong legs and hands and her opponents swear by that. She was able to retain her title Saturday night after defeating Marloes Coenen. After retaining the title, the MMA athlete said that Marloes Coenen is a worthy opponent. There is an amount of aggression in Cris Cyborg. She was once approached by the famous Playboy magazine for posing for its issue.
Her real name is Cristiane Justino Venancio. She started kickboxing since 2004. After trying and liking Muay Thai she started training jiu jitsu. The first MMA fight she took part in was in 2005. Though she lost in her first fight, later she went on winning successively. Cris Cyborg thinks that she has the potential to knock down any opponent if she trains and prepares well enough. She came across Evangelista Cyborg, a fellow MMA fighter and they liked each other. Finally they tied the knot. She is not too charged up about the Playboy offer.
She does not like the fact that a lot of people know about the Playboy offer. She has clarified that her career is the topmost priority for her. Building a family is among her foremost criteria but she has no hurry for that. She also wants to train aspiring MMA fighters. Even reporters are intimidated by her personality and some of them hesitate to talk to her, she has revealed.
