Courtney Stewart: Nick Adenhart’s Diamond Bar Girl

Nick Adenhart The police found a positive ID on Courtney Stewart who was killed in the car crash along with Nick Adenhart. Courtney was a Diamond Bar girl from Cal State Fullerton and was rumored to be Nick’s girlfriend.

It has been said that Courtney was driving the Mitsubishi Eclipse that was rammed into. Young Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart also lost his life in the car crash when a minivan blew the red light and rammed into their car. Along with Courtney Stewart and Nick Adenhart, a Henry Pearson, law student at Cal State Fullerton also died in the crash. The only survivor from the Eclipse, John Wilhite, is hospitalized in a critical condition. 22-year old Andrew Gallo is held responsible for the felony hit and run and possibly murder of those killed in the crash. He is currently undergoing treatment at the UCI Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash and may be charged with felony drunken driving, felony hit-and-run, and vehicular manslaughter, police said.

Courtney Stewart was a Diamond Bar girl and studied at Cal State Fullerton. She was also a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Her Sorority Sisters issued a statement saying, “All of us are deeply saddened and shocked at the terrible loss of our dear friend and sister, Courtney Stewart. Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time, and also to those mourning the loss of the other victims in this tragedy. We appreciate all the support we have already received from the university and the campus community. Thank you for respecting our privacy and space as we grieve.”
