Court Mcgee Emerges Winner

June 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a moment of true achievement for Court Mcgee as he won the Ultimate Championship’s Eleventh season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2010 on Saturday, June 19, at the Pearl, inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. He won the title of “Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale” and also gathered the Submission of the Night bonus after he defeated Kris McCray.
His journey back from his drug and alcohol addictive dark life found a new beginning with this title as he defeated Kris McCray in the second round which earned him six figure multi-fight UFC contract.
The mixed martial artist was emotional and all into tears after the match and in his interview with Kenny Florian he said that his fight is dedicated to all people who are struggling in life and also to his coach Chuck Liddell. Court McGee stated that he lived seven years in a minute when he “broke up like that”. The Ultimate Fighter 1 title owner said that he feels he has earned his spot and was overwhelmed with his achievement.
Court Mcgee was invincible that evening. He in the first round was continuously putting Kris McCray on his back until late in the second round managed to secure a rear naked choke. He was eliminated from the quarterfinals of the series’ but UFC President Dana White added him as a replacement for Rich Attonito, ultimately to win this Championship.
This reward means a lot for the recovering drug addict Court Mcgee to continue playing and pursue his career in his favorite sports and raise his family and children as well.
