abdsHouston, Nov 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The large number of crowds who had gathered to catch the much-awaited clash between the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans were in for quite an on-field drama on Sunday when two noted player from the teams, Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan got involved in a fistfight. Owing to their unwarranted behavior during the game, both the players were ejected in the fourth quarter of the showdown in which the Houston Texans reserved a 20-0 win over the Tennessee Titans. Sources say, that due to their rash on-field behavior, the Houston Texans wide-receiver as well as the Tennessee Titans cornerback might have to bear the brunt of disciplinary action from the National Football League.

The incident took place while the game was on its fourth quarter when Cortland Finnegan sparked the altercation by pushing the Texans wide receiver’s face mask at the line of the scrimmage. Andre Johnson reacted by completely ripping off the Tennessee cornerback’s helmet and in a fit of rage went on to deliver as many as two punches on Cortland Finnegan’s head and neck. With the altercation between the two players taking a rather drastic turn, the referees soon intervened to bring the situation under control.

Following the fistfight between Cortland Finnegan and the Houston Texans wide receiver, the game had to be halted for a brief period of time as the officials attempted to sort out the matter. The ugly altercation during Sunday’s game came on the heels of a rather disappointing week for the Tennessee Titans ho have suffered four consecutive defeats in the recent past.
