Corinthians fine defiant Adriano $40,000
January 20th, 2012 - 11:00 pm ICT by IANSRio De Janeiro, Jan 20 (IANS) Corinthians fined striker Adriano $40,000 for not training with the Brazilian club.
Adriano has missed several practice sessions and the club’s president Roberto de Andrade warned that if he misses one more practice without permission his contract would be terminated.
Adriano apologised and said that he wants to remain with Corinthians, at least until his contract expires in June 2012.
