Dec. 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) At a time when everyone seems to be out for slander, his wife almost walking out on him, and the sponsors dropping him like hot coal, there seems to be at least one redeeming factor in Tiger Woods’ life. The captain of the United States Ryder Cup team, Corey Pavin, has announced that he would like to get the golfer in his team for the matches that will be held against Europe the coming October in Celtic Manor, Wales.

The declaration has come in the wake of the report that Tiger Woods would be taking a hiatus for an indefinite period, to, as the golfer himself had commented, devote more time to his wife and kids. However, that does not seem to act much as a dampener in Corey Pavin’s plans. He feels that even after the golfer is back, he would continue to retain his form. Corey Pavin had further said that he would not be approaching Tiger Woods right now, respecting the fact that this is an emotional and private time for the golfer.

Corey Pavin goes on to claim that all the recent updates on the life of Tiger woods has done nothing to tarnish his view of the outstanding athlete. He is not the one to judge, he firmly insists, and that no matter what the golfer has done in his personal life, it does not change the fact that he is the top golfer in the world. He further expressed his faith in Tiger Woods by saying that a strong individual like him would not allow personal matters to affect his prowess in the field.
