jamaArlington, Feb 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Despite the skyrocketing anticipation of the large number of football fans to watch the Green Bay Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, some of the football fanatics were in for disappointment on Sunday night when in spite of having the tickets, they had to watch the game on television. The seating arrangements of hundreds of fans had to be relocated at the Cowboys Stadium where the game was held last night, as the construction work at the venue was not complete. The NFL official have emphasized that they had to take the decision of relocating the fans due to safety concerns as some parts of the Cowboys Stadium was rendered unsafe due to the pending construction work.

A statement that was issued by the National Football League read that the safety of the large number of fans attending the Super Bowl was of ‘paramount importance’ which propelled the officials to take the decision of relocating hundreds of them. The statement also added that the Dallas Cowboys as well as the Arlington city officials are “in agreement with the resolution.” While asserting the decision of the NFL, Arlington Assistant Fire Chief Alan Kassen said that the city officials have been part of the seating issue from the get-go and although the seating arrangements took longer to get installed, the fire department of the city has done everything to ensure the safety of the people.

In spite of the accommodations that were made to ensure that the dislocated fans get to watch the game at the large screens that had been installed, many of the dislocated fans were left fuming.
