Jan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The European captain of the Ryder Cup, Colin Montgomerie genuinely hopes that ace golfer Tiger Woods will make a grand comeback. The rumbling storm of scandals which battered the personal life of the golf star, made him take an indefinite break. The sudden halt which came to his rather brilliant career, has taken him away from the passionate game of golf in which he reigned for years. However, Colin Montgomerie believes that Tiger Woods will have a tough time in regaining his position. The public image of the golf star is almost tarnished now after the scandals came out in succession. Colin Montgomerie believes his ruined public image will act as the active hindrance and he doubts whether he would be accepted graciously by the people or not. As a fellow golfer, he holds Tiger Woods in high esteem.

Tiger Woods would be under pressure to continue with his winning spree, but a player of his mettle has nothing to prove to anybody. In order to rule the green fields again, Tiger Woods will have to put in a great deal of effort and concentrate more on his game. Tiger Woods’ come back would be a tough one, but Colin Montgomerie is of the opinion that with courage and determination, the ace golf player will be able to make things fall into place soon.

Colin Montgomerie seems to be worried about one thing, that is when Tiger Woods will make the come back: as the fourteen major winner can break the record of Jack Nicklaus, who has eighteen records in his kitty.
