Colbie Caillat And Amber Riley Performed In All-Star Game 2010

cc-stJuly 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 81st Major League Baseball All-Star Game which was held yesterday July 13, 2010, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim saw all-stars of the American League (AL) and the National League (PL) playing against each other to win the Championship trophy. The game was telecast by Fox Sports in the USA with Joe Buck and Tim McCarver in the broadcast booth. The “Bubbly” lady Colbie Caillat and the “Glee” famed Amber Riley performed in the opening ceremony to entertain the massive thousands of crowd who gathered in the stadium to be a part of the baseball history.

The opening ceremony kicked off with Amber Riley singing the National Anthem and few other famous songs to entertain the audience. Colbie Caillat sang “God Bless America” and the fans rejoiced and cheered for their favorite singers as they hit the stage. The Canadian Tenors led the crowd to a frenzy with their “O Canada”. Overall, the opening ceremony was a real show of glamor, glitz and entertainment. The match between both the team started at 8 p.m. and as the game began, it was a nerve wrecking moment for both the teams as one wanted to beat the other to win.

During the seventh innings stretch the Grammy Award winning singer Colbie Caillat sang her song “God Bless America” which played an important role in bringing a new spirit in the players. The much anticipated match of All-Star game saw the National League winning the game after beating American League in 3-1. Before the match began, the All-Star Game authorities, the players and the audience maintained a moment of silence as a short memorial in the memory of George Steinbrenner, the owner of New York Yankees.
