Nov 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cody Zeller announced that he will be signing with Indiana on Thursday. For many days there have been speculations about with whom is the player is intending to play, whether it would be Butler or Indiana or North Carolina. However, the speculations were over yesterday as Cody Zeller said that he wants to sign with Indiana.

Indiana Hoosiers coach Tom Crean is delighted as this player has got every quality that a coach wants in a player before polishing him into a star. Cody Zeller, the 6-10 forward from Washington had averaged 20.5 points and 11.1 rebounds a game last season. He led his team to the Indiana 3A title. However, he chose Indiana Hoosiers over Butler and North Carolina because his brother. Rumors said that he avoided joining North Carolina because his brother, Tyler Zeller, who plays with the team is not happy with it and wants to swap his team soon. Cody Zeller said that it was a tough decision to make as many factors are involved while choosing a team. One has to consider the players, the coach etc. However he made his decision after he had a discussion with the people who really mean to him, like his sibling, friends and relatives. On keeping his decision concealed for quite a lot of time, he said that he did not reveal anything to anyone outside his circle. Even his high school coach came to know about it just a few minutes ago. He also added that now he will help Indiana to recruit a few more good players.

Cody Zeller is 6-foot-11 tall and 210 pounds, with an ability to with his back to the basket, coupled with a terrific running. He can rebound on both ends, with a high basket ball IQ. His presence will be felt in amongst the Indiana Hoosiers.
