craig1Dec.31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Oregon State university coach Craig Robinson is going to keep his fingers crossed as his team Beavers will clash against the University of Washington on new year’s eve in the Pacific-10 Conference season. Expectations are immensely high from the Beavers this time, after the scintillating performance that they displayed in the last season. There is no doubt that fans are expecting a lot from this team.

Coach Craig Robinson has brushed away reports that his team would be playing under a lot of pressure in this season and had emphasized that all the players have to get used to the pressure and deal with the expectations. As his team gears up for their showdown against the Huskies, another aspect that is expected to pose a difficulty for the Beavers is that they would be lacking the support of the home crowd. However, coach Craig Robinson believes that his team is going to be ready to take the challenge and keeps his hopes high that the Beavers would be able to emerge victorious in the much anticipated game.

Meanwhile, Craig Robinson took charge of the basketball team at the Oregon State University in the year 2008 after the post was rejected by as many as three top ranked coaches. The main reason for this was the team’s dismal performance with its disappointing overall mark of 6-25. However, under the 47 year old coach’s guidance, things started looking up for the Beavers and the team’s performance underwent significant improvement.

Craig Robinson, who has earlier also been a part of Brown University, is the brother of first Lady Michelle Obama.
