Dec. 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Although the list of his mistresses has not met with much approval in most quarters, he seems to have gained some support in the sea of criticisms. However, this time, there are not only issues of forgiveness stating that every man makes mistakes, but positive sympathy. After his sponsor Nike and Boris Becker, it is the turn of Clinton Portis, the running back of the Redskins. Clinton Portis has stated that he feels that Tiger Woods is being unfairly treated.

This bit of positive response much mean a huge lot for the philandering golfer at a time when he is drowning in criticism. Clinton Portis has commented that it definitely was not the first time that the golfer’s wife had found out of his extramarital affairs, as, given the number of his women, it would be almost impossible to keep that a secret. However, the running back feels that the problem started when the matter became public, something that put additional pressure on them.

Clinton Portis further explains that it was probably the fact that Tiger Woods had such a good guy image that turned matters worse. He commented that athletes are always expected to live a morally upright life, and the revelation that he has not been doing so went against Tiger Woods. In some more explosive comments, Clinton Portis actually went so far in his support of the golfer so as to congratulate him in being able to keep his numerous affairs under wraps for so long, adding that he at least, gets what he wants without bothering about the implications.
