Cleveland Cavaliers Outplay Boston Celtics

Oct 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The curtain raiser for the Cleveland Cavaliers turned out to be a victory against Boston Celtics. The post LeBron James era began with a stunning victory of 95-87 over season’s favorite Boston Celtics. Moreover, the Cleveland Cavaliers fans had a double reason to rejoice as Miami Heat lost the season opener against Boston Celtics in the season opener in-spite of prominent figures like LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade being in the team.
The Cleveland Cavaliers played defensive from the very beginning though Boston Celtics dominated the court. The score board shows that Boston Celtics was ahead of Cleveland Cavaliers till the third quarter. However, the Cleveland Cavaliers players managed to get the ball on their court in the last quarter by playing defensive and forcing Boston Celtics to play out of their own rhythm. Boston Celtics player Shaquille O’Neal said that his team took Cleveland Cavaliers too lightly sans LeBron James. However, the team showed that hard work, dedication and effort can make an underdog come out victorious at the end of the game.
J.J. Hickson scored a marvelous 21 points with 6 rebounds on 8-11 shooting and along with him Boobie Gibson scored 16 and Ramon Sessions had 14 points to lead his team to victory. The coach of Cleveland Cavaliers said at the end of the game that he is proud of his players as they really worked hard for the games. He said that the team is going to celebrate their victory as they won the game in their hometown and many of the players in the team scored double digit number at the end of the match. Antawn Jamison, the forward player of Cleveland Cavaliers dedicated the game to their city and their fans.
