claySep 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) If there is one player who is sure to become a terror for his opponent on field then it is none other than Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews who came up with some brilliant play during the team’s play against Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. While there is no doubt about the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles team kept their best foot forward, it was Clay Matthews who was guarding the opponent and thereby restricting the score.

Many sports analyst are of the view that it is the presence of Clay Matthews in the team of Green Bay Packers that makes it one of the most scary team in NFC. The player who it seems believes in some aggressive play led the defense team of the Green Bay Packers by shedding two blockers which included one tight end and a chipping back. He also went for a game saving tackle towards the end by passing through the middle and destroying the attempt of Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Michael Vick by getting him just behind the line of scrimmage.

During the Sunday game, Clay Matthews had two sacks and seven tackles. However one of his hits cost the Philadelphia Eagles’ team dearly when its new starter Kevin Kolb had to leave the field with a concussion. The accident occurred during the second quarters of the game when the starter was hunted down by Clay Matthews. Although the first-year starter tried to return to the field in the second half of the game, he could not manage and was replaced by Michael Vick. Being only the beginning of the season, both the team and its fans are eager to see more of Clay Matthews’ tackle in plays to come.
