Clarke defends decision to leave NZ tour in middle to attend Bingle split
August 3rd, 2010 - 4:35 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Aug 3 (ANI): Aussie cricketer Michael Clarke has said that he doesn’t regret his decision to leave New Zealand tour in the middle to attend to his break-up with Lara Bingle.
Clarke opened up about the whole situation in the September-October issue of GQ Australia.
“My decision that I made there was what I thought was right,” the Australian quoted him as saying.
“I respect playing for my country that much that I thought, if I’m going to let anybody down, I shouldn’t be here - there’s somebody else who could be doing a better job than me.
“Going home was the right decision at the time for me. I don’t regret that decision,” he added. (ANI)
