Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry dies in an accident

Baltimore, Dec 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chris Henry, who was the injured Cincinnati Bengals receiver has died in an untimely death, aged just 26 years. Multiple brushes with the law marred his playing career. He died on Thursday morning after he fell from the back of a moving pickup truck in Charlotte, N.C Wednesday afternoon, the police said.

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry died when he succumbed to serious injuries which he had suffered after he fell out of a pickup truck. This happened after a domestic dispute with his fiancée. His untimely death at only 26 years has shocked many.

Chris Henry was found lying haplessly on the road on Wednesday in south Charlotte “apparently suffering life-threatening injuries,” according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. He was pronounced dead Thursday. Police said that a dispute began at home just prior to noon and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his unidentified fiancée was driving away from the residence after the dispute.

“The domestic situation continued between the operator and Mr. Henry,” the police said in a statement. “At some point while she was driving, Mr. Henry came out of the back of the vehicle.” Later Chris Henry was found on a residential street around half a mile away from his home. Somebody informed the police and the medical team arrived to find Chris Henry in this hapless state.

“He was good at what he did as a player, he was excellent,” the Bengals’ owner Mike Brown said at a news conference Thursday morning. “He was a teammate to our players, a friend to almost all of us in the building. We knew him in a different way than his public persona. We liked him. He had worked through troubles in his life and had finally seemingly reached the point where everything was going to blossom and he was going to have the future we all wanted for him and he wanted for himself.”
