jordanAug 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The first pre-season game between Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night although failed to impress the viewers and disappointed them up to a certain extent, it no doubt pointed to the shortcomings of the teams members. Like last year, this year as well the Cincinnati Bengals came forward with a poor display of offense. While the defense tried to restrict the score card of the Dallas Cowboys, the offense seemed to be making mistakes that only pointed to their need of practice and tactics.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jordan Palmer was one such player who failed to impress on Sunday. While in the first three quarters of the game, the defense of the Cincinnati Bengals held the Dallas Cowboys to three field goals, quarterback Jordan Palmer’s interception throwing provided the Dallas Cowboys a 16-0 lead over the opponents with just nine minutes left for the game to get over. Jordan Palmer threw an interception out of his own end zone but went in favor of Dallas Cowboys linebacker Brandon Sharpe who did not miss the opportunity to return six yards for a touchdown and provide his team with an unbeatable lead.

However, it was Jordan Palmer again who turned out to be the savior who towards the end of the game connected with tight end Darius Hill from a distance of one yard. Jordan Palmer was able to cut the Dallas Cowboys lead to 16-7. The Dallas Cowboys at the end won over the Cincinnati Bengals with the scoreboard reading 16-7 in their favor.
