redman-crisAtlanta Falcon’s quarter-back Chris Redman managed to display some skillful prowess in defeating the San Diego Chargers in their match on Saturday with a score of 27-24. Redman defined his firebrand alertness and winning streak after he finished 15 of 19 passes covering 134 yards. Redman leaned on Troy Bergeron in keeping alive the drive, and Bergeron completed 3 passes for 29 yards, drawing the game to its end.

Atlanta’s starter Matt Ryan finished 14 of 20 for 140 yards.Had it not been for Redman the victory would not be so blatant, but Redman who appreciated Ryan’s understanding of the game earlier this month is also responsible for having contributed beautifully. Redman, five days ago talked like a big brother to Ryan, saying that he would like to help Ryan improve as a team member. Ryan has not hesitated or fussed about how Redman was their team leader, at least in the meeting room. Ryan is an emerging NFL star who is rubbing shoulders with Redman and the latter ensures that Ryan is received and treated undauntedly.

An anxious Atlanta team’s head coach Mike Smith said, “I was disappointed with the way that we played on the third down.” He said his team’s momentum was deterred by the Chargers, when Falcons had allowed 255 net passing yards. He did not seem indifferent to the fact that the team had displayed stable defense in the first quarter however repeating, “We have got to get better on the third down.”

Billy Volek took some great snaps for the Chargers finishing a pass to Malcolm Floyd. William Moore, who had hardly recuperated from a knee surgery, suffered a hamstring injury against the Chargers.
Eric Weems caught the fruitful and final game winning touchdown pass.
