Chris Bosh doesn’t wants his ex to appear on ‘Basketball Wives’

Los Angeles, May 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chris Bosh has petitioned a court to stop his ex-girlfriend Allison Mathis from appearing on the VH1 reality show “Basketball Wives.” The suit was filed on Monday at the California District Court.

The suit also names the producer of the show, Shed Media, as the other defendant of in the case. Bosh had a child with Mathis during the period that they had their relationship. He is accusing Mathis in the court papers that she is trying to exploit the relationship that they had. To Bosh, Mathis is just trying to promote her commercial brand by appearing on the show.

The suit took swipe at the show. Part of the documents questioned why people who do not have basketball husbands should be featured in a show like “Basketball Wives.” The Heat forward is the second basketball player to have raised issues with the show. Shaquille O’Neal asked the producers of the show to stop his ex-wife Shaunie from appearing on the show last year.

Bosh first contacted the producers of the show. After failing to convince them to drop Mathis, he took to the court to do so. The suit wants the court to stop the show’s producers from using anything associated with Bosh in the show.
