Chicago Blackhawks Victory Parade All Set To Take Place Today

Residents of Chicago have something big to look forward on Friday as the city would be gearing up for the parade which is all set to take place in order to celebrate the scintillating Stanley Cup victory of Chicago Blackhawks after the team was able to defeat Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.
The win was indeed an important landmark for the Chicago Blackhawks, which was successful in winning the championship for the first time since 1961.
Given the stupendous performance that has been displayed by the team, it hardly comes as a surprise that the enthusiasm among the large number of Chicago Blackhawks fans has been skyrocketing who are keeping no stones unturned to prepare for the victory parade which is scheduled to take place today from 10:30 a.m.
Thousands of enthusiastic supporters are expected to participate in the parade with the aim of greeting the winning team. As per the reports that have been available, it has been stated that the parade would commence at the intersection of Wacker drive and Washington Street while continuing towards the eastern part of the city.
According to reports, the triumphant team as well as the other members of the organization would be greeting the cheering crowds all along the route in double decker buses.
While talking about the arrangements that were being made to tackle such a large number of crowd, Chicago Office of Emergency Management spokesperson Will Knight has revealed that proper steps are being undertaken to manage the crowds.
At the same time, it has also been divulged that the event is being financially supported by sponsors.
