Chennai Super Kings arrive in Chandigarh to take on Kings XI Punjab
April 12th, 2011 - 10:54 am ICT by ANIChandigarh, Apr 12 (ANI): Chennai Super Kings after the thrilling win against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket tourney inaugural match arrived at Chandigarh ahead of their ensuing clash against Kings XI Punjab.
Chennai Super Kings arrived at Chandigarh airport on Monday to play against Kings XI Punjab in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty 20 cricket tournament on Wednesday (April 13).
The winners of IPL-3 retained their nucleus with their thrilling win of two runs over Kolkata Knight Riders in the inaugural game on April 8.
On the other Kings XI Punjab started with a listless performance against the new entrant Sahara Pune Warriors, who fleetingly cruised their win of seven wickets in their first match against Punjab outfit.
Chennai Super Kings team is led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and is owned by India Cements, Chennai Super Kings have been one of the consistent performers at IPL.
Whereas Kings XI Punjab is led by Adam Gilchrist and is owned by a consortium which include Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and industrialists Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, and Karan Paul. (ANI)
