Chennai International marathon on Aug 22

- Chennai, July 11 (IANS) Organisers of the GiveLife Chennai International Marathon scheduled to be held on Madras Day here Aug 22 are expecting a record turnout.
The event, organised by non profit organisation Tamil Maiyam and Goodwill Communications Ltd, will see participation from African and European runners.
“There will be three events — half marathon (21.09 km), a city run (7km) and a wheelchair run for men and women. The prize for the half marathon will be Rs.500,000 for the winner, Rs.300,000 for the runners-up and Rs.200,000 for the third place,” said Jegath Gaspar Raj, managing director, Goodwill Communications.

Would like to come along with 4 other athletes from kenya and run the chennai international marathon, we will pay for our air tickets so we need invitation letters only.{ Alfred kipkurui, kangogo totona, daniel cheruiyot, Albert esinyon.} all for 21kms. Assist please!
