Chelsea Vs Totteham: Harry fumes over ‘costly’ decisions
May 1st, 2011 - 1:37 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 1 (ANI): A controversial goal by Frank Lampard and another dubious strike by Salomon Kalou have kept the Blues’ dreams of retaining their Premier League title alive, but left Tottenham Spur coach Harry Redknapp ruing costly decisions.
According to The Sun, Redknapp seethed: “The first goal wasn’t over the line. Technology has got to come in. It takes seconds for you to check if it’s a goal or not and the game moves on. It’s got to happen.”
He added: “I don’t see why we’re still messing around after all these years and we haven’t got technology in the game - it’s amazing. As for the second goal, Kalou was just slightly offside when he scored but that’s how it goes.”
Spurs are fifth in the Premier League - four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who host basement boys West Ham at Eastlands tomorrow. (ANI)
