Chelsea must get tough to win Premier League title: Mikel
November 27th, 2010 - 5:34 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov. 27 (ANI): Chelsea’s Nigerian football star John Obi Mikel has told his team mates to get tough if they want to win this year’s Premier League title.
The injury-hit Blues have lost three of their last four league games.
“We used to tend to push teams aside even when we were not playing well. It’s kind of a struggle for us,” The Sun quoted Mikel, as saying.
The champions are without skipper John Terry, Frank Lampard and Michael Essien for tomorrow’s clash at Newcastle.
“When the season started everybody said that Chelsea would go unbeaten. We were playing very well, creating chances and scoring goals. We got used to the first-team players and now most of them are not there. No disrespect to those playing now but we are missing these players,” Mikel said. (ANI)
