London, Nov 21(ANI): Chelsea and Inter Milan are in a tug of war to snatch Argentina striker Sergio Aguero in a 40 million pound deal.
According to reports, the Blues are in pole position to land the Atletico Madrid star, and they are also due to meet Atletico representatives next week.
“This is a battle between Chelsea and Inter. If the club decide to let Sergio go in January then he will go to one of those two clubs,” The Sun quoted an Atletico source, as saying.
The 21-year-old has been in Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti’s list, and had made a 43 million bid back in August.
Though the Spanish outfit turned down the offer, they have since admitted that not selling Aguero was a mistake. (ANI)
