Chelsea determined to rope in Sanchez
January 20th, 2011 - 3:12 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan.20 (ANI): Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti appears determined to rope in the services of 25-million-pound-rated Udinese midfield star Alexis Sanchez.
Chelsea did hold talks with the Italian outfit, but have been unable to agree on a fee so far.
Udinese chairman Gianpaolo Pozzo revealed: “With Chelsea, we talked 25 million pounds. I want this figure, if not more.”
According to The Sun, Stamford Bridge boss Ancelotti hopes to do a deal for 22 million pounds for the attack-minded Chile star, who shone in last summer’s World Cup and who has been in sizzling form in Serie A for Udinese. (ANI)
