The Ultimate Fighting Championship has been in news these days for major ‘heavy weight wins’ this year. But apart from the big fights, the UFC has declared another great news much to the delight of the fans. On Friday, it was announced that the two big names in the UFC, ex-champion Chuck Liddell and Charles Lewis will be inducted in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Hall Of Fame. Both of them have made a huge contribution in the heavy weight championship, as they are called as The Iceman and Mask respectively.

According to sources, it has been known that Dana White, the President of the UFC, has informed about this news earlier as he had been quoted saying, “Hey guys Chuck Liddell and Charles “Mask” Lewis will be inducted into the UFC hall of fame at the UFC fan expo this Friday at 6.30 pm.”
In front of thousands of fans present on the last day of the UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, the announcement was made.

Liddell who felt honored at the announcement addressed his fans by saying, “I never felt like it was me out there. I’ll never forget the first time I walked into the MGM and how loud it was. And It was us walking out there, it wasn’t just me. ”

They are not the first fighters to mark their entry in the Hall of Fame, as earlier five fighters, namely Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Randy Conture and Mark Coleman have marked their entry in the Hall Of Fame.
