Charles Barkley SNL New York, Jan 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The NBA legend Charles Barkley is doing his best to support the scandal ridden Tiger Woods. He is supporting the golfer and he hoped that Tiger Woods would be able to move forward with his life, after all these scandals. He hoped that despite all this, Tiger Woods can begin life afresh.

“You say you’re sorry, you apologize and you go forward. There’s nothing more,” the New York Daily News quoted him as telling Jim O’Donnell of the Chicago Sun-Times.

He added: “I think any celebrity who pays these ‘crisis management’ people or PR people to speak for them is an idiot. Say your thing, say you screwed up, my bad, move on.”

Barkley believes Woods, whom he calls a friend, “a grown man. He can do his own thing.

He felt that the mistresses who he paid for servicing him, shouldn’t have kept the texts and the emails from the golfer, as that is not right. He related Tiger’s misery to his own case when he served a three-day sentence on a drunken-driving charge in March.

He said: “When I got my DUI, it was like - ‘Chuck, hey, man, what are you going to do? I’m like, well, I really screwed up. I’m going to say, ‘My bad, I really screwed up.’ Ain’t nothing more. You think I’m going to pay somebody to say that for me?”

He also said that Tiger Woods is a friend of his and that he is a mature person who can take his own decisions and figure out his own life too.
