November 19th, 2009 - 9:11 pm ICT by IANSAhmedabad, Nov 19 (IANS) Pune’s Aditya Bhandarkar shot one of only two under-par rounds Thursday to set up a final-day clash with overnight leader Abhijit Chadha at the LG Gujarat Open at the par-72 Kensville Golf Club.
The 20-year-old carded a round of one-under 71 in the day to tie Chadha at four-over 220 for the tournament.
Late bogeys pulled Chadha back and the two players will now go head-to-head in the last round in search of their maiden win on Tour.
Pawan Kumar is now nine shots behind the leaders, alongside Ambala’s Manav Das.
Manav made a move up the leaderboard as he too returned card of one-under 71. One behind them at fifth place are Rahul Bajaj and Gagan Verma at 14-over for the tournament.
