August 19th, 2010 - 9:16 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS) Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) president Mike Fennell Thursday expressed concern over the mounting charges of corruption against the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (CGOC) but was fairly happy with the venues and the Games Village after his two-day whirlwind tour to inspect the national capital’s preparedness for the Oct 3-14 Games.
Fennell said that the CGF doesn’t want to be associated with any corrupt practices and the Indian authorities should investigate all the charges.
“Recently there were lot of reports on corruption. The CGF is concerned with all these reports and we want the Indian authorities to look into these allegations so that we come out clean,” he said.
