CBI raids Kalmadi’s premises (Lead)
December 24th, 2010 - 10:17 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 24 (IANS) The CBI Friday raided Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi’s homes and office here and in Pune in connection with irregularities in the conduct of the October games, official sources said.Central Bureau of Investigation officials searched a Kalmadi residence each in New Delhi and Pune, the Organising Committee office here and the house of an aide also in Pune, the sources told IANS.
“The raids began around 7 a.m.,” an official said.
