London, Aug 10 (IANS) French president Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife Carla Bruni, former super model and singer, says she will not give any public performance as long as her hubby is in office. Contactmusic.com reports, Bruni, 40, married Sarkozy in Dec 2007. She has now come up with her new album “Comme Si de Rien N’etait” (”As If Nothing Has Happened”).
Bruni says she will continue to make new music as the first lady but won’t promote or market them because that would be in poor taste.
She said: “It would be sort of obscene. It’s not that I want to use my husband’s power to sell my songs. I just don’t believe that women should drop everything.”
