London, Feb 23 (ANI): Soccer ace David Beckham bravely protected pregnant wife Victoria from a media ambush as they popped into London department store Liberty.
The Beckhams, visiting the shop on “private business”, found themselves caught in the middle of a London Fashion Week scrum, reports the Daily Express.
Fashion designer Alexander Wang had just hosted a celebrity-filled party at the store, so fans and the paparazzi were lining the streets just as Victoria made her exit.
When eager photographers mistook the couple’s presence for an official appearance, a stern Beckham was quick to put them straight and asked to be left in peace.
The fashion event attracted model Daisy Lowe and Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran. (ANI)
