Cam Newton & Darron Thomas battle it out
January 11th, 2011 - 9:40 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattEugene, Jan 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The debate on who is the best player between Cam Newton and Darron Thomas got to the heights when the two sides met at the BCS Bowl. The game came off on Monday night.
There have been several debates on which one of the two quarterbacks is the best in the NCAA. On the night though, the pair had wonderful game.
When it was all over however, it was Newton and the Tigers that carried the day. The game ended 22-19 and what made the game very interesting was the fact that the final play of the game resulted in a field goal.
The game took place at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Oregon Ducks is the second ranked team and the game against the top-ranked Tigers had all the signs of a thrilling game. The game did not disappoint in that manner and in the end, many of the fans were left wondering who the best QB in the NCAA was.
The debate will go on for a long time primarily due to the fact that they both played a wonderful game on the night.
