California Highway Patrol Releases Video Footage Of Tyreke Evans’ Dangerous Driving

tintAug 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Friday, the California Highway Patrol office released the video footage of the reckless driving escapade of Tyreke Evans that he carried out on Memorial Day weekend, on May 31. The video footage that shows the purple Mercedes of Tyreke Evans speeding over the California Interstate 80 has brought in front of the fans of the basketball player the irresponsible behavior of the player that had landed him at court.

The video that was shot from a Law enforcement aircraft shows Tyreke Evans along with an unidentified man speeding over the Interstate 80. The car was seen passing dangerously in and out of the traffic and the California Highway Patrol officers believe that he was chasing another car. The CHP officers have said that the car was traveling at the speed between 120 to 130 miles per hour. The video shows that the car of Tyreke Evans was pulled over at a park in Norwood Avenue. The player was arrested on gunpoint which the officers later explained was done due to the illegally-tinted windows of Tyreke Evans’ car.

Since the official release of the video, it has almost gone viral on the web. Many blogger and fans of the NBA “Rookie of the Year” 2010, have expressed their amazement and discontent with the player for his dangerous driving. However, the player on his part has pleaded no contest in the case and also accepted the sentence that the court had read. Tyreke Evans has been sentenced to 80 hours of community service by the court. The court has also canceled his license for thirty days and asked him to take part in teen driving programs.
