Calf injury rules Rooney out of England-Belarus clash
October 12th, 2009 - 12:04 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct.12 (ANI): England and Manchester United Striker Wayne Rooney will miss England’s final World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Wednesday with a calf injury.
Rooney picked up the problem in Saturday’s defeat to Ukraine, reports The Sun.Rooney will undergo treatment and hopefully will be fit for the Manchester United-Bolton Premier League clash. (ANI)
