London, July 27 (ANI): Formula One champion Jenson Button has joined the growing chorus of criticism against Ferrari.

Ferrari are accused of sending a coded message to Felipe Massa that resulted in him slowing down to allow team-mate Fernando Alonso to pass and claim victory. The team has been asked to pay a fine of 65,000 pounds and could face more penalties from the FIA.The Sun quoted McLaren ace Button, as saying: “Personally I think team orders in F1 are wrong in any motor sport category, although sometimes they are inevitable. We all want to win, but they have to give both their drivers the same opportunity to do so.”He added: “This was very early in the season. How early is it going to start in the future?”

Team mate Lewis Hamilton said: “For me, if my engineer came across the radio and the message was ‘Jenson’s faster’ it means pick up the pace if you can. My reaction would be to go faster, that I need to find the time.” (ANI)
