Butler Bulldogs Registers Victory Against Michigan State In NCAA Semifinal

butlerIndianapolis, Apr 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of the Butler Bulldogs were in for a treat on Saturday night as the team registered a scintillating victory against the Michigan State at the Lucas Oil Stadium. The victory must have been indeed special for the Butler Bulldogs as with the win it registered its position in its first national championship game. In order to ensure its position in the finals, Butler Bulldogs defeated their opponents with the score of 52-50 in the much anticipated showdown last night.

With the victory, the Butler Bulldogs would now be facing Duke in the final championship game which is scheduled to take place on Monday. The Duke defeated the West Virginia by a score of 78-57 in the other semifinal which was also held on Saturday. While reacting to the stunning performance delivered by the players of the Butler Bulldogs, Gordon Hayward added that the main aim of the team had been to reach the finals of the championship and finally it had been successful in achieving its goal. The player also contributed immensely to the victory of the team as he scored the 10 points out of the initial 12 points earned by his team.

Just like the previous encounters with the Michigan State, winning last night’s game was not a cake walk for the Butler Bulldogs. During the first half of the game both the teams gave their best shot and the score was tied at 28-28. However, things transformed in favor of the Butler Bulldogs in the second half of the game as the team emerged victorious to the utter delight of all its fans.
