Butch Jones Negotiates With Cincinnati

butch-jonesDec. 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Butch Jones, the head coach who has helped the Central Michigan team to record several glorious win might be leaving the team, if some reports are to be believed. If the reports are true, then the coach who has joined Central Michigan in 2007, will be training the players of the Cincinnati team in the coming days. A person close to the Cincinnati team reported the media in condition of anonymity that the team has started negotiation with Butch Jones.

According to the reports, the negotiations between the coach and Cincinnati officials have started from Tuesday night. However, none of the sides have confirmed any agreement and so it is still unknown whether Butch Jones will end his association with the Central Michigan team. If he leaves the Central Michigan team, then he will be the second consecutive coach to quit this team for joining Cincinnati.

Brian Kelly, who has recently resigned from his job of Cincinnati’s coach also coached Central Michigan before Brian Kelly. After leaving Central Michigan, he had spent three years with the Cincinnati team and has given them a new form. Recently, he has joined the Notre Dame team and it appears that Brian Kelly, who has succeeded him in the Central Michigan team will take his place in Cincinnati too.

Though reports of the negotiations between Butch Jones and Cincinnati officials have surfaced, none of them have officially confirmed any report regarding the deal. Therefore, Cincinnati fans will have to wait for few more days to know who will coach their favorite team after Brian Kelly left for Notre Dame job.
