Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern signs Polish lad
January 2nd, 2012 - 2:17 pm ICT by IANSBerlin, Jan 2 (IANS) German Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern announced Sunday the signing of highly-regarded Poland Under-20 international Jakub Swierczok from Polish second division outfit Polonia Bytom.
The 19-year-old signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Kaiserslautern, who are third from bottom in the Bundesliga and have scored just 13 goals, the fewest in the league, Xinhua reported.
“He is a talented player and we are convinced he has the potential to make it in the Bundesliga,” said club president Stefan Kuntz.
