Nov. 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bud Adams was fined for making a rude gesture while celebrating his team’s win against the Buffalo Bills. The video, that shows Adams making the rude middle finger gesture, has since become a rage in the internet, with YouTube streaming it. The video shows the 86 year old Adams making the obscene gesture at the Bills fans after the Tennessee Titans, of which he is the owner, won the match 41-17 against the Bills on Sunday. He allegedly made the gestures twice, once when he was in his luxury suite and then again whe4n he was on the field.

Adams was seen “flipping the bird” in the presence of Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner. Needless to say, it wasn’t overlooked by the commissioner, who had had breakfast with Adams earlier and watched part of the match with him, and the Titans owner was fined 250,000 dollars after the NFL conducted a probe into the matter. The move obviously created an uproar, raising questions about the conduct of the owner that is highly unexpected and unsuitable for a man his age and stature.

Bud Adams apologized for the gesture. He said that he was not drunk or anything during the game, but insisted that he had got a bit carried away by the excitement of the win. He further said that he did not mean to show any disrespect for the Buffalo Bills players or hurt the feelings of their fans by making that gesture. He admitted that his behavior was inexcusable and that he is ready to take the disciplinary actions that will most probably be taken against him.
